FCC approves BlackBerry PlayBook with LTE

RIM announced that the Blackberry Playbook tablet would be getting an upgrade in the form of an LTE version, but just when exactly will we be able to see the device hit the shelves?

While a specific date of release has yet to be confirmed, the device was recently spotted at the FCC and has reportedly gained FCC approval for its release into the consumer market. No specifications on the tablet were spotted in the FCC filing, we can only await the full details once it has officially been announced for sale.

In the mean time, other connectivity options such as NFC and Bluetooth were spotted in the device. If a LTE capable Playbook sounds like a device you would wanna get your hands on, then its definitely worth waiting for.
