Ebay Buys Where

Online retailer Ebay has purchased mobile search tool Where. Some of you may know that Where has been on BlackBerry for quite some time now and it is a powerful mobile search app that can help you find local businesses, people, gas prices, and more. It even hosts a live blog chat that enables users to communicate between the different platforms it services.

Although Where is only avilable for US customers, Ebay plans to expand it’s horizons and offer a broader international service. I can see big things happening now that this acquisition has happened. Exciting times to be part of Where staff and development team.
