I recall hearing about Dymo Last year when they unveiled its CardScan mobile app on Windows Mobile devices. Their app is designed so you can snap a shot of a business card using the camera, and the app will put the info into the smartphones contact directory. How cool does that sound? Dymo has lets us know now that the CardScan Mobile app is now available for iPhone and certain BlackBerry devices. The models that are supported include the BlackBerry Curve 8900, BlackBerry Storm 9530; BlackBerry Storm 2 9550; BlackBerry Tour 9630, BlackBerry Bold 9700. The app also works on iPhone 3GS smartphones running OS3 or OS4. The iPhone 4 isn’t specifically mentioned in the supported handsets, but I would assume it would work with the app as well.
