Box for BlackBerry 10

Ever since launch, BlackBerry 10 has come with two popular cloud services integrated into the OS – Dropbox and Box. Today, the two apps for these have received some minor updates, including 10GB of free storage for BlackBerry 10 users courtesy of Box!

The Dropbox update brings the app up to version 1.1.0.79, while Box has been bumped up to 1.1.0.88. Both apps include “Quality Improvements” in the changelog, but the 10GB of storage provided by Box is probably much more interesting for most users. Having said that, it appears that anyone with an account over 10GB of storage will not receive this benefit – my 50GB account did not get any extra storage after updating to this version of the app. Anyone who has used the app before will also notice some minor UI changes in the Box app, while any changes made to the Dropbox app seem to be hidden behind the scenes. Head on over to BlackBerry World to check out the updates for yourself. Alternatively, you can use these links: Box and Dropbox.
