A while back BlackBerry Empire received word about the BlackBerry device “Colt” being cancelled from production. Now word reaches BlackBerry Empire that the “Milan” has been cancelled as well.
Multiple sources cited that the “Milan”, that had its picture blasted all over the net in the past month, was never a QNX phone. The device was not even intended for BlackBerry 10. The device was intended for BlackBerry 7 but did not sit well with carriers due to its similarity to the BlackBerry Torch 9810 which was released a few months back. That leaves the last known device standing, BlackBerry “London”, which BlackBerry Empire has been advised of RIM’s shopping around of the “London” with multiple carriers. While the London still looks close to the picture that was published by The Verge a couple of months ago, there has been some design changes to the device according to sources.
