OS 2 brought Android to the PlayBook, but is it really possible to have iOS on your BlackBerry PlayBook too?  Looks like it’s technically possible.  Recently, a demo video of Brine, an iOS Emulator for the BlackBerry PlayBook surfaced on YouTube.

Still can’t believe it??  Continue reading to find out more.

Links to the demo video of the iOS Emulator, called Brine, apparently floated around on Twitter, according to OpenSourceBB.

The YouTube video shows iOS apps being run on a BlackBerry PlayBook, through Brine – an iOS Emulator created by a developer (Bubble Wrap on Twitter).  The emulator was ported on the PlayBook, and seems to be running quite well.

Check out the video to see for yourself.

Whether the emulator will actually make it into AppWorld is another significant question altogether, but at least this video proves just how powerful and flexible the BlackBerry PlayBook is.
