I reviewed the crunch sms app about a year ago and realized how useful it was. You can customize pretty much any part of the application itself; font color, background image…etc. While it has these cool features, I’m more a of business/functionality type of user and they give the application no jump over the native sms. Crunch is great for people who want their sms to look exactly like they want it to and could care less about how the app works with the OS. Hit the more button for details…
Crunch
Pros: small app, full color customization, background image…
Cons: no os integration, no mms support, separate app itself
Native sms is very plain and dull but it gets the job done. If you like cool apps then stick with crunch but if you’re like me and need it to be apart of your messaging integration for quick link sharing or text messaging in general, the you’ll want to be with the native sms. I won’t get to deep into either within this post. I thought I’d let you know what the differences are before you view the video.
Native
Pros: full os integration, native app(works better), mms, fast access
Cons: dull as ever, no customization, generally NOT cool to use
Those are the apps in a nut shell. Watch the video for more depth.
