Are you one of many that travel for work or play? Well, in my time with the Marines (I have been to many countries) I wish I had this app, Text Speech Translate from Toysoft Development. With this great app you can now speak any text that you type, or speak a text file in any of the supported languages (there’s over 30). Text Speech Translate can also translate words or text from one language to another language.
Why is Text Speech Translate better?
Not only can Text Speech Translate speak the text but it can also save it as an mp3 file. To convert a text file to speech just follow rhese simple steps. Select the file, then select the supported language, and then just tap convert. In no time you will have a mp3 file that you can listen to at any time. There is no limit to the size of the text file.
With the language translator you can save all the translated words or text to the bookmark database and recall them as needed.
System and BlackBerry Hub Integration
If you have a text file that you want to listen to or convert to speech all you have to do is select the file (in an application such as the file manager) and then select share, or open in from the menu. This will open the Text Speech Translate application which will then allow to speak the text file, or convert it to speech.
Text Speech Translate is also integrated with the BlackBerry Hub so you will be able to speak or convert email messages as needed. In the BlackBerry Hub press and hold on an email message and then select share. Select convert to speech and Text Speech Translate application will display the message. You can then select speak or convert it to a mp3 file for listening or sharing.

Internet and Shared Files are mandatory. If you deny these two permissions the application will not work.
As you can see this app will help when you need to translate something on the go. It’s very easy to use, and works perfectly on my BlackBerry Classic device.
