CEO of BlackBerry John Chen sat with CNBC before he went on stage today at Code Conference to discuss the BlackBerry’s Z3 launch and just how well his plan to turn around the company is going.Â
To kick things off, John Chen thinks the Z3’s reception went quite well, he reiterated that the sales numbers regarding the Z3 shouldn’t be judged for the entire turnaround plan. He also believes the company is on the tail end to becoming a strong, independent company.

Not only that, John Chen sees the iPhone 6 as a positive thing and not a negative. In his eyes, the more devices out there, the better.
