BlackGram brings native 3rd party Instagram client to BlackBerry 10 [Download now]

BlackGram

Finally! A native Instagram client for BlackBerry 10 makes it ways to BlackBerry World. BlackGram is a third party app that has full features a native Instagram client would have, there is a small catch to the method it uses to upload photos, however the ability is there.

Features for BlackGram:

  • Account creation
  • Profile picture change
  • Full browsing: followers, following, liked.
  • Search users and tags
  • Like, unlike, comment, follow and unfollow
  • Select a picture from your albums or take a photo with the camera
  • Edit the image with the integrated editor and native filters
  • Original Instagram filters

Note from dev:

Pictures need to be encoded and secured before being published to Instagram™. This operation is queued to our servers and takes no more than a couple of minutes. The status of any image upload can be checked at any time on the “upload history” page. Pictures are downsized to Instagram™ max resolution of 640×640 px. All Instagram™ logos and trademarks displayed on this application are property of Instagram™. This application is not endorsed or certified by Instagram™.

Update: Be patient before purchasing as many users are getting this error message when trying to login:

Dev also e-mailed BlackBerry Empire as to why these issues are happening:

You just were too much :)….
Too much concurrent request, I have to fix some network settings and BlackGram will be back online again.
I apologies for the difficulties.
Thank you very much for your feedback and for the support.
Best regards,
AppStar Support Team
