The Mobile Star Awards awards and recognizes all products in the mobile spectrum. BlackBerry, for the second time in a row, has won multiple awards, including BES10 and BBM Protected being named a “Superstar” whilst the BlackBerry Passport “a shining Star”
The awards program is hosted at MobileVillage.com, a technology news and directory site. Winners are chosen by their readers. In addition to the three winners, BlackBerry’s Billy Ho was named as an Enterprise Mobile Services Visionary.
For 2014, EMM solution BES10 was named a “Superstar” for Mobile Devices Management, while secure messaging serviceBBM Protected earned that same distinction in the Mobile Messaging or Email category. The BlackBerry Passport was noted as a “Shining Star” in the Business-Ready Smartphone category, showing how the device is built for the productivity-minded professional. And finally, BlackBerry’s Billy Ho was named as an Enterprise Mobile Services Visionary. Billy leads the Enterprise Product Management and Software teams as Executive Vice President of Enterprise Engineering.
