BlackBerrys & Battery Good Battery Life

We all know that BlackBerrys & good battery life have always gone hand in hand. For those of you that have one, you know how awesome the battery life is and for those of you who plan to get one, you’ll appreciate this post soon enough. You can see the image above showing my device @ 2%. Truthfully, when I first looked at the meter, at that moment, it showed 0%. I couldn’t take the risk of my PB dying while I took the screen shot, so, when I snapped it, 2% was as low as I could get it. I’m proud of how well RIM managed to implement the way the PlayBook handles the battery. On that day, I woke up with my PB less than 25% full and decided to consume as much media as I could. I was listening to music, reading news from other tech sites, watching embedded videos & doing much more. Even today, my PB has been off of the charger since about 5:00 AM(July 8th) and now, it’s only showing 77%(8:00PM July 8th). I read some .pdf files early this morning, watched 3 techno buffalo podcasts, listened to 3 full length podcasts, reviewed a few games and still it manages to be over 75% full. I gotta tell ya, if RIM keeps this up, the next generation BlackBerry, after the OS 7 series, will be a power house. If you agree, share this with the world, wouldn’t hurt ya…Enjoy your BlackBerry.
