BlackBerry Z3 Official

The BlackBerry Z3, BlackBerry’s latest and least expensive offering since their high-end flagship BlackBerry Z30, is set for launch in India on June 25th, according to The Times of India.

The device has only officially been released in Indonesia and since that launch, we’ve heard bits and bats of how sales have been but nothing has been declared officially. We’ll get a clearer view on Z3 sales come this Thursday and for now, BlackBerry have sent out invitations to the Indian media to formally announce the budget friendly, BlackBerry 10 running, 98% Android app capable, touch screen touting 5″  BlackBerry Z3. Did I mention it’s budget friendly? Say, below Rs 12,000?

I suspect this won’t be 4G/LTE ready, but nonetheless, the BlackBerry Z3 is the ideal budget smartphone that has the majority of features you receive on a not so budget friendly smartphone.

Keep it locked in to BlackBerry Empire for more news and our official 4G/LTE review of the BlackBerry Z3 soon!
