BlackBerry Selects Bali for Asia Developer Conference

BlackBerry makers Research in Motion announced today, Monday, that they have selected Bali as the site of its first BlackBerry developer conference in Asia. The event is scheduled to be held after the new year. They have estimated that there are more than two million BlackBerry users, Indonesia has become the largest market for BlackBerry in Southeast Asia.

Mike Kirkup, director of RIM developer relations for global operations, said the Indonesian developer community had seen significant growth compared to those in Singapore and Malaysia.
