BlackBerry Q5 on Koodo

Do you live in Canada? Have you been looking for a budget-friendly way to upgrade to BlackBerry 10? Then you’ll be happy to hear that the BlackBerry Q5 is coming soon to Koodo, with a $350 price tag off-contract.

We don’t have any details on when “soon” may be, but as of today the carrier has listed the Q5 on their web page. This should be a great way of getting BlackBerry 10 into the hands of even more consumers, as the price is quite reasonable by local standards. Moreover, if you opt for Koodo’s “Tab” system, in which you pay a monthly fee towards the device balance, you can get the device for just $50. You will, however, be tied to Koodo until the rest of the balance is paid.

If you’re not a fan of Koodo, chances are we’ll see more Canadian carriers offer the Q5 in the near future as well – if Koodo sees potential in it, they’re unlikely to be the only ones.
