Earlier while chatting in some of my Beta groups, it was mentioned that some users were hit with an email by RIM letting them know that BlackBerry® News Feeds will be temporarily unavailable due to routine server maintenance. After researching and digging, I’ve come across a snippet of the official email being sent out by RIM.
Please be advised that BlackBerry® News Feeds will be temporarily unavailable during routine server maintenance starting on Monday, March 28th, 2011 at 12:00PM EST. The server is expected to be offline until Wednesday, March 30th at 5:00PM EST. During this time you will not be able to use BlackBerry News Feeds. Once service is restored, please sign in with your BlackBerry ID, and you will be able to use BlackBerry News Feeds as normal.
