BlackBerry’s Michael Clewley takes to Twitter to address the screen flickering issue that many BlackBerry Passport users are having. BlackBerry released 10.3.1 to all exisiting devices including the BlackBerry Passport. Ever since a decent build of OS 10.3.1 leaked to the public, the BlackBerry Passport has been suffering from the nasty screen flickering bug. The official OS pushed to the device did not resolve it which resorted to Michael Clewley commenting:

As a workaround for the Passport flickering issue we’ve seen a daily reset reduce the amount it happens.

There you have it. The OS 10.3.1 update is being held back until they have the issue sorted and a fix is being tested as we speak.
