Latest news has it that the new, upcoming budget BlackBerry device will not feature a physical keyboard.

CEO John Chen announced at the Q3 Earnings Calls this month that the first Foxconn manufactured BlackBerry device will soon be released sometimes in April or May. However, latest news regarding the device comes from BGR, which the article reports that the device will not include a physical keyboard.

What’s a BlackBerry without a physical keyboard? A BlackBerry with an even better, touch screen keyboard. Yes. The device, however, is confirmed to be running BlackBerry 10 and not BBOS, which questions whether or not BlackBerry is slowly phasing out BBOS. One thing I do know is, BlackBerry need to nail the pricing for this device.
