Another BlackBerry Fact Check coming in and this time it’s another one of Good Technology’s claims that their company was the first to introduce PAC Files which as “enterprise class secure browser to deliver support for Proxy auto-configuration files,” BlackBerry decided to “Fact Check” them, once again.

To set the record straight, BlackBerry introduced PAC files since 2003 on the BBOS days. Today, it BlackBerry 10 carries that feature along with BES 10, including support for iOS and Android (Secure Work Space). The feature, described like  “a TV guide tells you what channel to select for a specific program, a PAC file will tell the device which proxy server to use to reach a specific URL destination”

Good Fact Check

Good Technology’s service isn’t good enough, neither is their marketing accurate. Shame on you.
