Doug over at the BlackBerry Developer Zone has just released the info to ‘BlackBerry Developer Resource Fridays’. They have provided a bunch of resourceful articles and new simulators as well. If you are unfamiliar with simulators, they are designed to let you view and test out how BlackBerry® Device Software works with your application. The screen, keyboard and trackpad/trackball’s functionality can also be viewed with the simulator. So in short, with a BlackBerry Smartphone Simulator, you can run and debug applications as if they were on an actual BlackBerry® smartphone, allowing developers the chance to make the best applications possible for BlackBerry® devices.
