BlackBerry Developer Groups Coming to New Delhi and Barcelona in June

RIM has let us know via DevBlog that the BlackBerry Developer’s Groups will be expanding to two new groups, in New Delhi and Barcelona  where according to RIM, the demand is high for BlackBerry platform development. Local developers can definitely network with others developers, share experiences and interests and really get a feel for BlackBerry development. Check below to read more on each new event.

 

BlackBerry Developer Group India is the very first BlackBerry Developer Group in India and will meet on a regular basis in New Delhi. The group aims to help the Indian BlackBerry developer community in creating the best apps and games possible. The first meeting is scheduled for June 11th and will feature a talk entitled ‘BlackBerry Ecosystem: Challenges and Opportunities’ by Mr. Prashant Singh, Evangelist, Spice Digital (Spice has hit the 10 million download mark for its apps on the BlackBerry App World™ storefront). Mr. Prashant is also the co-founder of Mobile Monday Delhi. Additionally, there will be an informal networking session at this meeting. The Barcelona BlackBerry Developer’s Group is also launching in June. Developers in Barcelona and surrounding areas will be able to share their experiences developing for the BlackBerry platform and participate in future workshops which the group plans to organize. The first meeting is scheduled for June 21st at Rambla de l’Exposició 61-69, 08800 Vilanova i la Geltrú. For more information please visit the group’s official site.
