BlackBerry Content Transfer

BlackBerry has released the Content Transfer app for BlackBerry 10 today, allowing users to migrate their data to the Android-powered BlackBerry Priv.

The Content Transfer app works on any BlackBerry 10 device running 10.2.1 or later. It can transfer data to the Priv using a microSD card, a private WiFi network, or a Google Drive account. All the content will be encrypted with a password of the user’s choice.

Content Transfer can move the following data to your BlackBerry Priv:

  • Contacts
  • Calendar
  • Pictures
  • Videos
  • Music
  • Text messages (SMS)
  • Notes
  • Tasks
  • Documents
  • Email accounts

Content Transfer is available now on BlackBerry World, although the BlackBerry Priv isn’t set to start shipping until November 6th.
