BlackBerry let us know our News for BlackBerry Empire App designed for the Z10 has passed certification and is ready to be ported to support the upcoming Q10 device. You should receive an email from BlackBerry letting you know your app has been approved for the Q10 without having to make any changes. If you receive the email simply sit back and your original Z10 app will be Q10 ready courtesy of BlackBerry.

We tested your BlackBerry® Z10 app and we’re happy to report that it doesn’t require any changes in order to run on the soon-to-be-released BlackBerry® Q10 smartphone! We are going to automatically port it over so you can get it in front of app-hungry BlackBerry Q10 users.

If you choose not to have your Z10 app ported over to support the Q10 you can opt out before May 15, 2013. If you fail to opt out by then your Z10 app will automatically be ported over to support the Q10.
