When I logged into App World on my PlayBook this morning I noticed a nice little change in the Categories section. Instead of having all the categories shown at once, you will now see an “Apps” category and a “Games” Category. App World 3.0, which was recently announced by RIM, may expand on these changes. I am hoping that RIM will make the “Categories” section look more like the front page with lists of top games and top apps in separate panes on the screen shown above.
I like the idea of separating Apps from Games as long as they don’t stop here. They need to expand on this idea and make it a little easier on the eyes. What do you think?
