(Manila, Philippines) In preparation for the BlackBerry and Globe sponsored Philippine concert of Nicki Minaj, a press conference was hosted by the two companies a while ago to introduce Nicki to the local and international media covering the event. Held at the Diamond Hotel in Manila, the press conference, including the 1-on-1 interviews for broadcast media, lasted about 30 minutes, to allow Nicki (who arrived just yesterday) to have enough time to prepare for her concert tonight.
Most of the questions, which had been strictly limited in number, focused on Nicki’s musical influence, message for fans, as well as some personal questions which she willingly and candidly answered.
One of the interesting questions raised was on her BBM status. She said she wasn’t too sure what it was. When asked if it was set to “Available”, she said “yes, I think it does say that.” –confirmation that Nicki does use a BlackBerry smartphone! Â Unfortunately though, we were unable to catch a glimpse of what specific BlackBerry phone Nicki has.
