BlackBerry 9270

Good news for anyone in India looking to pick up the new BlackBerry 9720. The BlackBerry 9720 will go on sale from authorised retailers starting Sept 14th.

Priced at Rs 15,990, which is roughly the same price in the UK, BlackBerry is probably banking on this particular device to do well in India. I, personally,  think it will sell well simply by looking at current BlackBerry 10 to BBOS sales, it is clear that there is a market for these phones (although still declining) After knowing what Apple considers to be budget friendly, it is nice to know BlackBerry has almost all the price points covered. Whether to go for this one or spend a few more Rs on the Q5, the choice is yours.

Packed with the usual, the BlackBerry 9720 features the latest BB 7.1 OS, a 2.8 inches (480×360) touchscreen, a single core 806MHz processor, 512mb RAM, a 1,450mAh battery and a 5MP rear-facing camera.

Would you be buying the BlackBerry 9720? or would you consider the Q5? Let us know in the comments!
