RJ Design has released a new Premium theme for BlackBerry 9700, 9650 phone on OS6 called BerryBionic. The theme creator, jalaw (Crackberry screen name), was after a clean, fast and relatively simple theme using Droid icons. He has succeeded wonderfully.
I installed this theme on my 9650 and it performs very quickly. No lag, no freezing and easy to manipulate. The home screen consists of a user- customizable 10 icon dock that slides and two mini icons, anchored to the bottom of the screen. The dock shows with shortcuts alt ( and hides with alt ). If you want to see your calendar and messages, use the shortcut alt + and to dismiss the view, alt -.
The theme is wallpaper friendly. The app screen features a plain black background so you may see all your app icons. The highlight cursor is typical Droid green. In a world of Droid themes, jalaw has set his apart by making his theme functional but keeping the icons unobtrusive. BerryBionic supports both OS5 and OS6. I have it running here on OS6. The premium theme supports the 95xx, 9800, 97xx, 96xx and the 8900.
