BBtor is the first ever torrent client for BlackBerry smartphones. It is based on a peer-to-peer file sharing protocol used for distributing large amounts of data over the Internet. BitTorrent is one of the most common protocols for transferring large files and it has been estimated that peer-to-peer networks collectively have accounted for roughly 30% to 70% of all Internet traffic (depending on geographical location) as of July 2012.
