BBM on iOS Beta has been updated to v2.7.0.33, adding Touch ID and passcode protection for those wanting preying eyes off their BBM! The full update log include:
- Secure BBM with a passcode and Touch ID
- Select and delete multiple chats, contacts and groups at once
- Added new color display names in multi-person chats and group conversations
- Moved My Profile to navigation menu
Known Issues
The following are known issues with this build:
- BBM-38866 BBM Screens may be visible without entering passcode while on a BBM Voice call by tapping on new message notifications and dismissing BBM repeatedly.
- BBM-38868 Chat Screen is visible behind Touch ID prompt after tapping on new message notification.
The BBM team will also be sending out surveys to collect your feedback on the experience so far. You will need to have the TestFlight app on your iOS device (eligibility needed, ofcourse)
