BB10 Torch Slider On the Way? Patent for Portrait QWERTY Model Granted to BlackBerry

Oh my, look what we have here. It’s been reported that BlackBerry has obtained a patent for a portrait QWERTY slideout device, very similar to the Torch Slider which was originally released with model No. 9800 running BlackBerry 6 OS. This USPTO doc dates back to 2011 so no telling what this could mean.

Personally, I think BlackBerry should stick to their all touch and iconic candy bar design in the Z10 and Q10. But thats just me. Would you like to see a BB10 version of the Torch? Let us know your thoughts below.
