While I was posting about the torch being launched in India on BBin’s site, I also stumbled upon this vid they posted. We all have heard about Microsoft’s announcement of their new Windows Mobile 7 mobile phone. Well recently, they released an ad commercial promoting their device, but taking shots at BlackBerry and their users.
According to their commercial, they depict BlackBerry users as blind, incognizant and negligent. I know we all love our devices, but come on. How insecure is Windows mobile? As they say in their own words, Really??? They satirize others for their benefit. Check out the video below to see what i’m talking about.
This isn’t the first time RIM has been picked on by others. Remember the “death grip” on the iphone 4. Apple posted on their site stating every mobile phone is subjected to act up when holding it a certain way. We all didn’t buy it, and we will certainly not be sold out by this commercial. Nothing but a desperate political strategy on behalf of Windows by showing this negative ad. We’ll just let the sales do the talking. After two midterms, and a presentation on South Africa, this post became target to release some hot air. Now that we have that out of the way, let’s get back to more BlackBerry coverage.
