Mobile development company, Apps Foundry, has recently released a PlayBook app which consists of local news for Indonesia. The app allows PlayBook users to read news from varying national publishers such as, Tempo Interaktif, The Jakarta Globe, DailySocial, TeknoUp, Urbanesia, InfoBank, Marketeers, and Autocar Indonesia. What Apps Foundry has managed to do with the Indonesia Terkini app is condense all of the interactive contents and serve selected information about Indonesia via the BlackBerry PlayBook.

The CEO of Apps Foundry, Willson Cuaca, explained:

“We see needs for curated content because information available on the web is excessive. Information overload has occurred. With Indonesia Terkini, we cooperate with media partners to serve selected information about Indonesia via the Blackberry Playbook.”
