I recently started searching for an app that can read me my messages while driving because I love mountain biking and I love my BlackBerry. As I browse through the App World I stumble across an app that might do the trick. As I read the description, I’m amazed at what the app can do.

After a convincing description, I decided to download the app from the App World, Get my gear, and go out on my bike. At the top of the hill I put my earphones on, fire up the app and give it a few minutes for it to start. After waiting, I decide to drive my bike downhill and suddenly a women starts to talk to me. I thought to myself, what a nifty app this is. THEN, it went “hay wire.” At first it started reading random texts.Then, it started mixing emails and pins until the weirdest thing happened. Now two voices start talking, making it nearly impossible to recognize what the app was saying. So I turned the app off.
The morning after, I restarted my phone and decide to give the app another try. That didn’t work out, I was disappointed again. It can’t completely read the email address, and can’t even read gmail.com. It ends up saying mail.com. DriveCarefully would probably frustrate you more than it will help you. It would be safer to stop your vehicle and read the email, rather than getting road rage from the annoying voice and glitches. From a personal point of view, IMO, I would not recommend this app to any one.
