Here’s a new theme to tell you guys about. Flo by Pootermobile is simple elegance in a unique lay-out that is a nice change from your usual home screen designs. This theme has a 9 icon hidden dock (12 for Torch) , smooth animation, and runs fast. The colors are awesome. Pooter chose to go with red, which is becoming quite popular these days. Load up Flo and you see a red square framed by a grey border. It’s a different look, and clutter free. Custom battery and signal meters on the top corners, and the clock, date and notifications on top center.
Look at that…your wall paper is seen within the box, and still shows the entire picture. Looks like the wall paper is within the screen. Very nicely done. Scrolling over the wall paper area is actually a hotspot that takes you right to your picture folder. Smart.
Scroll over the arrow and the wall paper gives way to the 9 custom icon dock. Very sleek and sharp. And guys, this one navigates so smooth. Scroll back on the arrow and the dock slides away. I like it. I like the animation built in so that I don’t have to press any extra keys to get to what I want. Just one handed navigation. That is easy!
Same grey background as seen on the home screen shows of the custom icons very well. The focus is a a darker grey which is also used as the menu background color. Highlight bars are red. See? This theme “Flo’s”.
The one thing that’s missing is an ocd slot. I’m sure it’s because the design of the theme doesn’t allow for it. That’s ok. I do like to have one, but then again that’s why I have Quick Weather (app sold separately) so I can still have my weather and I can place it anywhere.
