PlayBook Indonesian Launch Months Behind North America

According to reports, the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet which will go on sale in select retail outlets tomorrow across North America, is facing a possible 4 month launch delay in the country of Indonesia. The Jakarta Globe reports that a RIM rep has yet to make an official announcement but expected the release in Indonesia would be three to four months behind the United States.

The PlayBook shouldn’t be completely ruled out in Indonesia because users can definitely find one out in the black market. Of course, the price will be higher and the the tablet will come without service guarantees. Will you still get one? Or wait it out?
