WhatsApp Messenger, once again, has been updated for people that are participating in the beta program on BlackBerry Beta Zone. This update isn’t as big as the last one, but any update that improves the quality of user experience is more than welcome.

This update brings little UX updates and the usual bug fixes and improvements.

Changelog:

  • Improved display of location messages on the chat screen
  • Prevent indexing of user-selected ringtones
  • Prevent display of unsupported characters when receiving emoji from iOS 8.3 users
  • Updated translations
  • Miscellaneous fixes and updates

Head over to the BlackBerry Beta Zone app on your BlackBerry 10 to see if you’re eligible to join the WhatsApp for BlackBerry 10 Beta program.
