Head of Software Portfolio Vivek Bhardwaj leaves BlackBerry

Vivek Bhardwaj 2

You will have definitely seen this man a lot during the Thorsten Heins reign at BlackBerry – especially during the BlackBerry 10 launch. However, Vivek Bhardwaj has reportedly left BlackBerry.

We haven’t heard much from Vivek ever since John Chen took the CEO role for BlackBerry. CEO John Chen has made quite the change since he took over. However, Vivek left on his own accord and wasn’t given any sort of notice by John Chen at all. The news comes in a month or so after leaving (according to his LinkedIn Profile), so he and BlackBerry definitely kept this one quiet.

It certainly isn’t good news, but we wish the best for Vivek for the future.
