The Vine client for BlackBerry 10 Whine has received yet another update and is now available on BlackBerry World coming in at version 1.4.6.5, this update comes with several fixes and enhancements.
The developer for Whine has been making this a solid Vine client for all BlackBerry 10 users ironing out all the bugs.
Full change log for v1.4.6.5:
- Fixed UTF-8 support in profile description. Arabic and rest are not ???? in Profiles anymore.
- Simplified error reports. Yeah, it looks more human readable now but still provides data I need.
- Fixed a crash situation on Twitter login. There was a stupid mistake of mine when parsing a non existing data. Heh.
- Fixed searching people from contacts or Twitter. It works for me, if it still fails for you, contact me via Channels please, I will need some test data.
- Made better data validators on registration. People don’t seem to read, so now I made them read. When I say at least 8 characters and at least 1 number in password, I mean it.
- Donations switched to In App Purchases. There you go, choice is yours. Thank you everyone that have donated so far. I am half way in with my car registration. Half more to go.
- Action buttons added on bottom of list items.You asked for it, you got it. It can be switched on/off from Settings.
- Dynamic ForeignWindowControl creation and destruction. This is a completely new concept. Works so much better, but it might still glitch so be on the lookout for situations that it does.
- Snap Mode in Settings. Q users already love it.
- Listening to device lock state. No more screaming out of locked phone.
- Delete video action has dialog confirmation now. A part of prepration for BFBB and also good UX.
- Video item optimization for Q series. Shuffled around some pixels and without shrinking the video player, got it to fit nicely on that screen.
