BBM for both Android and iOS seems to be down as many readers have reported, I myself have experienced the issue when trying to send a BBM message to a non-BlackBerry contact, all I get is a red X. Messages are not getting delivered but can be received from non-BlackBerry devices.
Who knows if this is a network type of issue or if BlackBerry is currently working on their 2.0 BBM rollout for Android and iOS. We will update the post accordingly, let us know either via BBM Channel post or on the comments below how BBM is working for you.
Update [11:06 EST]: Service seems to be restored and working for the most part
Problem solved! Our engineers were on the case right away and all #BBM services are now operating normally.
