BlackBerry to shut down Hailfax office in January, 350 workers will be affected. It seems that they are getting rid of workers in large amounts, faster than the announced Q1 Fiscal 2015 reduction in employees.

BlackBerry expects to face costs of at least US$400 million before the end of May 2014, expenses are tied to the severance payments for the layoffs, as well as reworking its smartphone lineup and other changes to its manufacturing, sales and marketing operations.
