Google Voice For BlackBerry Will Shut Down Next Week As Support Ends

google-voice-logoNot only has Google decided to shutdown their popular Google Reader service on July 1st but Google Voice for BlackBerry support will come to an end next week, according to Google they want users to use their HTML5 compatible web device which is available on BlackBerry OS 6 and above devices. Google states:

Beginning next week, we’re ending support for the Google Voice App for Blackberry. For Blackberry users who want to continue using Google Voice, we recommend they use our HTML5 app, which is more secure and easier for us to keep up to date. Our HTML5 site is compatible with users with Blackberry version 6 and newer.
