OS 10.3.1.396 is now ready available for developers to download and install on their BlackBerry 10 devices in order to develop and update their applications.
This OS is apparently not crippled as to what we’re used to seeing with Developer OS’. The file sizes come as large 3GB (Z10) and notably include all apps including working notifications and alarm. Maybe John Chen feels these OS’ can be used for the regular folk to unofficially test and report back? (Doubt it)
Remember, whilst this may be reported to be a full OS, this also came from the BlackBerry developer page, so just keep that in mind. There will be bugs and there will be things that don’t work, this is quite an old build as to what has been already spotted, but it’s 10.3.1 nonetheless. BlackBerry Blend still does not work this OS. There isn’t an OS available for the BlackBerry Passport, but we’ll update this once that arrives.
