BlackBerry is looking to stop sales of Typo immediately

Typo Keyboard BlackBerry

Typo, you might have heard of it. It’s the knock off BlackBerry keyboard for the iPhone in which Ryan Seacrest invested his money in. Anyhow, BlackBerry is looking to impose the injunction (that they won) right away since Ryan Seacrest and his friends are using tactics to shift as many Typo keyboards as possible before the injunction takes place.

BlackBerry originally was asked to provide a bond, due Friday, in which the court document didn’t reveal just how much Typo had requested. BlackBerry has offered $500,000. Not only that, since Typo is playing dirty, BlackBerry now wants the court to impose the injunction right away, bond or no bond.

Typo claims they’re only doing business by a means of having a “same day shipping” offer  with no extra costs and holding a sale through a retailer at the Los Angeles Airport. The company also claims BlackBerry needn’t worry since they’re only a small company with limited capacity to produce these keyboards.Typo claims it had “verbal and written” orders from resellers, despite losing the preliminary injunction motion.

Typo should give it up, their product is a fad. If you desperately want a keyboard as good as a BlackBerry keyboard, pick up a Q10 and stop ripping off other companies’ products.
