BlackBerry Monument LogoIf you are wondering just how affordable the first built by Foxconn device for BlackBerry will cost, under $200! John Chen is making his rounds in Vegas dishing out as many details as possible. Consumers wanted something more affordable opposed to the current high-end BlackBerry 10 devices excluding the BlackBerry Q5, they will be getting one.

He pretty much confirmed our recent story that the first Foxconn device nicknamed Jakarta will be all-touch, that is the device we could expect to see at an affordable price tag under $200. The device will be a low-end BlackBerry 10 device for emerging markets.

“For emerging markets, BlackBerry will let Foxconn take a bigger role. But we will do the next set of cool phones.”
-John Chen

We should be expecting a high-end keyboard device, built this year as well.
