XBLOCKR Pro Integrates with Outlook for First Calendar based Call Manager App

The app firm Aquilonis Technologies Private Limited has just released XBLOCKR Pro for BlackBerry which is the first of its kind to integrate with MS-Outlook which provides a calendar based call manager for mobile devices. Check below for sample cases.

Sample Use Case:

You have a Sales Review meeting on Thursday between 9 am to 10 am. You do not want to be disturbed during this period but also do not wish to loose important communication.

You can configure your Mobile Phone through MS-Outlook like this.

(i) Phone should not accept any calls that are not in my Contacts
(ii) It should give a pre-defined text message if my boss calls – letting him know that I will revert soon.
(iii) If my son calls then his call should be diverted to my spouse
(iv) All other calls should be diverted to my secretary or colleague

Exactly on Thursday at 9 am, my phone goes to the above mode and at 10 am it comes back to the normal mode.

(2) Download and install MS-Outlook Plug-in/Add-in to your PC from

NOTE: Divert feature is not supported on CDMA phones.

Miscellaneous Terms:

* Duck – disconnects the call. The caller will be diverted to your voicemail if configured.

* Drop – the call is picked up for a second or less and then gets disconnected instantly.

* Divert – the call automatically goes to a predefined number of your choice.

* Do Not Disturb – ducks all incoming calls, except the Special Numbers.

* Duck & SMS – ducks the incoming call and automatically sends a pre-drafted SMS to the caller
