WhatsApp Messenger, one of the leading cross platform messaging apps received an update (roll out began on Sept. 17th) now features the ability to share multiple pictures, including Contacts integration meaning you can share a contacts details from the Contacts app to someone on WhatsApp
I kind of like an appreciate the level of support WhatsApp has dedicated towards BlackBerry 10, regardless to previous statements. This update, however, includes a string of updates such as:
- New UI for sending photos: can send multiple photos at the same time
- Message previews: shows incoming messages from other conversations – AWESOME!
- Support for sharing contacts from the Contacts app
- Support for sharing multi-selected photos from the Pictures app
- Many bug fixes
