Vodafone UK today launched the Vodafone BlackBerry Freebee, a new pay-as-you-go offer tailored for BlackBerry users.
PAYG customers with the RIM-made smartphones can now get free UK BlackBerry Messenger (BBM), internet browsing, email and access to BlackBerry AppWorld on top of their credit, when they top up £10 or more on Vodafone.
The Vodafone BlackBerry Freebee also currently includes an extra 100MB of UK internet on top of the purchased credit.
Vodafone already offers Freebees across all its pay-as-you-go packages, but the latest version is intended for people “who really love their BlackBerry”.
Customers can opt into the new Freebee by calling 4355 for free at any time from their BlackBerry handset. (United Kingdom Only)
Each Vodafone BlackBerry Freebee lasts for 30 days and can be used with Vodafone’s Simply Pay price plans.
Topping up £10 again during the 30-day period means the user will get another free allowance to use for the following month.
