Looks like Verizon has began releasing a very small update to the BlackBerry Z10 software today. We are receiving reports that many users are showing some type of update for their device but the OS version numbers are still showing v10.0.9.422 so it’s unsure exactly what is being updated.

From the reports I have received there is a small change log when the update appears and you will see those changes below.

  • Improved battery life: Over 60 battery saving improvements have been made to keep you moving.
  • Photo enhancements: The camera has been optimized for better photos in low light situations.
  • And more: You’ll also enjoy fixes to Gmail calendar, improved performance for 3rd party applications, and better browser video playback.

Let us know in the comments below if you have received this latest update on your BlackBerry Z10. I’m with Verizon as well but haven’t had it on my device but I’m currently on Z10STL100-4/10.1.0.1429 anyhow.
