It all started at 7pm GMT when my twitter exploded into life with tweets that ÜberTwitter had been suspended alongside its Android partner Twiroyd for what seemed to be several violations of Twitter’s policies, these included charging for content and DM’s longer than 140 characters.
Tonight’s suspension of these clients has seen a frenzy of activity on Twitter as users rushed out to replace their loved clients, this frenzy even included SocialScope giving out free invites to all who sign up on their webpage ( a rare event at best ), But as the dust settles it seems the hype was short lived as Übertwitter has announced that it has made the relevant changes requested by twitter and they are just awaiting activation.
