RIM Officially Launches BlackBerry PlayBook In New Zealand

According to National Business Review RIM has officially launched its innovation driven tablet, the BlackBerry PlayBook, in New Zealand today. Noel Leeming, JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Norman as well as Telecom New Zealand and Vodafone (although it has yet to materialise on either carriers’ website) are retailers that have released three wi-fi only models which include:

  • 16 GB ($799)
  • 32GB ($949)
  • 64GB ($1049)
On the other hand, Vodafone Australia is offering the PlayBook bundled with a BlackBerry Torch since it wants its users and subscribers to experience full BlackBerry Bridge capabilities that RIM’s tablet offers. What a great deal!
